Who we are

Fix-A-Meal (“Fix-A-Meal”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is the team building a recipe app for growing families. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled on our website at fixameal.app (the “Site”). You can reach us at any time at support@fixameal.app.

Information we collect

The Site is currently our pre-launch home. It does not require accounts, does not use analytics tools, and does not collect personal information about you when you visit.

If you choose to contact us — for example, to join the early list or request a recipe — we receive the information you include in that message, such as your name and email address. We ask for nothing we don't need.

Hosting and infrastructure

The Site is hosted by third-party infrastructure providers (including Cloudflare and Netlify) that operate the servers and content delivery network behind fixameal.app. Like most hosting services, they may process standard technical data needed to run the Site — such as IP addresses, browser and device information, and basic server logs — in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Cookies

The Site does not currently set cookies. If we ever add features that require cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy to describe what they are and why they're used before enabling them.

How we use information

We use information you voluntarily send us to:

• Respond to your questions and requests;
• Manage early-list sign-ups and share launch news; and
• Improve the Fix-A-Meal product and website.

We do not sell personal information, and we don't share it with third parties except as needed to operate the Site or as required by law.

Children's privacy

Although the Fix-A-Meal product will be made for families, the Site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information directly (for example, through our email address), please contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

We keep contact information only for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, until we've told you about the launch, or until you ask us to stop. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@fixameal.app and we'll respond in a reasonable time.

Security

The Site uses standard security measures, including encrypted connections (TLS) in transit, and we limit access to the information we do hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take it seriously.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site and product evolve — especially as we add features closer to launch. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
