Straight answers about Fix-A-Meal — what it is, who it's for, and what's coming next.
When does Fix-A-Meal launch?
Fix-A-Meal is in active development. The best way to be first to know is to join the early list — as soon as the app is ready, early-list members hear about it before anyone else.
Who is Fix-A-Meal for?
Fix-A-Meal is made for growing families: parents and caregivers of babies starting solid foods around six months, toddlers with big little appetites, and families who want one meal to work for every appetite at the table.
How do the recipes match my baby’s age?
Baby feeding in Fix-A-Meal is organized in stages. You set your baby’s age once, and the app only shows recipes appropriate for that feeding stage — smooth purees from around six months, soft chunks from twelve, and hands-on toddler meals after that. As your baby grows, the recipes grow with them.
Are the recipes suitable for children with food allergies?
Recipes include ingredient lists and, where practical, notes on common allergens and possible substitutions. However, Fix-A-Meal is a recipe resource, not a medical service — if your child has food allergies, please check every ingredient with your pediatrician or allergist before cooking, especially for first foods.
Can I really cook with just what I have on hand?
That’s the whole idea. Tell Fix-A-Meal what’s in your fridge and pantry, and it matches recipes to those ingredients — so dinner comes from what you already own. If a recipe needs something you’re missing, you get a short grocery list with just the gap, not a whole new cart.
Will Fix-A-Meal be free?
Details about pricing and plans will be shared closer to launch. Joining the early list is free and doesn't commit you to purchasing anything.
How do I join the early list?
Use the “Join the early list” button on our homepage, or simply email us at support@fixameal.app. We keep the list small and only use your address to tell you when Fix-A-Meal is ready.
Is Fix-A-Meal medical or nutritional advice?
No. Fix-A-Meal offers general recipe ideas and guidance for home cooking. It is not a substitute for advice from a pediatrician, doctor, or registered dietitian. For health conditions, allergies, growth concerns, or specific dietary needs, always follow your child's healthcare provider's guidance.
Can I request a recipe?
Please do! Email your family favorites and the ingredients you want us to feature to support@fixameal.app. We read everything, and requests from the early list genuinely shape what we build.
